I’m forwarding this to you, kind readers, on behalf of the Musicadium crew. I realise I haven’t really given too much of an insight into what’s going on with our lovely little side-project, yet there has been a lot going on behind the curtain (I promise).

Musicadium has new investors on-board and new systems, software and websites are being designed and developed as we speak. There really is too much to tell in such a short space, but there is a new Position available for one lucky applicant. I’ll leave you with the official advert:

Operations Administrator Casual/Part Time Position Available - Immediate Start

Musicadium is a revolutionary digital music distributor. We supply your music to digital download stores around the world including iTunes, eMusic and more. We enable you to retail your music on the world’s leading digital outlets without requiring any special technical skills, access to industry networks, being signed up to a major label or having to forego any rights to your music.

Situated in a prime Valley location, this small firm is currently seeking an experienced, friendly, independent worker to work alongside the Directors of the company to ensure the smooth running of the operation. The purpose of this role is to perform a wide range of routine and complex administration duties. The administrator will be responsible for all aspects of the general day to day administration of the company and will play a key role in providing support to a busy and dynamic team.

This role is varied with high levels of autonomy. Duties and must have skills include:

  • The maintenance and constant improvement of daily, monthly and yearly operations procedures and relevant administration.
  • Album uploads
  • Computer skills are a must
  • A strong command of the English language
  • Answer phone and email support and queries
  • Ongoing relationship management for clients
  • Assist in promotional and marketing activities
  • Ad hoc administrative duties including assistance to the Director.
  • Excellent administrative skills
  • Highly organised and must be efficient
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Reliability & flexibility
  • Be able to multi-task

The position is available to start immediately and salary is negotiable depending on your skills. The position is also able to lead to a full time position or job share is available.
